Bidra med feedbackWaitress was very rude. The dessert was OK but not as good as it looked. It seems to be a growing trend around here that the food is nice but the attitude of the locals stinks.
High quality traditional Alsacian dishes, nice even if busy high-street location, and friendly and effective service.
We had the plate of the day Fleischnacka with pommes de terre saute, et salad verte.... a platter which was full of flavour such a generous serve that we could share was plenty for the two of us for lunch. Great value...at 14 euro, friendly efficient service. We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch here would return. Missy-Gail Australia.
We are a family with two teenagers. Our visit today was a quiet tuesday lunch in February. It was beautiful weather and we were wandering the pretty streets looking for a place to eat. This restaurant is on the main street through the town. Lots...of places were closed and this seemed to be the only one open and we liked the look of the menu which featured lots of traditional Alsacien dishes. Three of us chose the tarte flambée not having tried it before and were not dissapointed. It 's a very thin bread base with a fromage blanc then various toppings to choose from like mushrooms, munster cheese or salmon. It was perfect choice for a quick lunch and great value for just 9€ as it was huge. The owner was lovely and friendly and service was perfect not too quick and not too slow. Stone walls and Alsacien decor and the kids loved the 'heated ' bench seats they were sitting on. It initially looks quite a small restaurant but on our trip to the loos (which were very clean and modern) we noticed another much bigger room and a terrace outside which I expect it needs in summer when the town will be much busier. Lovely lunch, friendly service and would definitely recommend.
Really good alsacien food, good and quick staff. The wines are very good and from their own winery which can be bought in their wine cellar just outside the restaurant.
