Bidra med feedbackWe happened across this bakery early in our stay and kept going back every day we were in Riomaggiore. The Torta Engadina (Walnut Tart) and the Cantucci al Limoni (biscuits with a lemon filling) are amazing.
This little bakery was a very convenient and cheap stop for breakfast. We chose a couple of different focaccia and a couple of cannoli. The potato and rosemary focaccia was really good but I found the cannoli shell a bit too thick and hard for my taste. You can easily spot the pretty, pink shopfront which is only a few minutes up from the train station along the main street. There’s nowhere to sit but there are steps just beside the bakery and one or two random bench seats along the street. A better option is to take your goodies around to the marina and eat them there which is what we did.
Stayed a week in Riomaggiore and ate breakfast from here every day. So lucky to stumble across this on day 1. Everything is freshly made, the focaccia is delicious, as are the local “fisherman’s cakes”. Friendly staff as well.
Ho provato sia focacce tipiche che torte. Tutte spettacolari, focacce fresche, dolci morbidi e letti. Eccezionale.
Good place to look for breakfast and baked goods. The foccacia were definitely to die for. Should have come here more often
