Pici Trattoria - Rio de Janeiro

I'm from Chicago and had a lot of good Italian food this place beats them all. Excellent Burrata and the Lachspasta is wonderful. Will be back soon.

I went to the restaurant on a Tuesday to taste the executive lunch menu. I ate a very good carbonara pasta! the lunch menu with the dish of the day costs 42 reais. In my case, I chose the main course and for the value (56 reais) I got the starter and the dessert. I really enjoyed it and will be back more often.

Great service and atmosphere. The decor is very inviting. I had a cocktail that had hibiscus tea, and that was delicious. The risotto was also to die for. We also ordered the fish of the day, which came with this sweet paste that took a little bit away from the grilled vegetables and fish. We ended up just having it has dessert because it was very dense.

Found this lovely Italian bistro via Google and was very impressed. Luckily we arrived early as there was a queue of waiting patrons outside in the rain! Fantastic ambience with locals dining. Its quite a high end restaurant great for familes/couples with a romantic atmosphere. Cocktails were lovely. I noticed everyone was drinking wine though! Our waiter was very attentive. Food took a while but was very worth it. My kids enjoyed their pasta and my husband his beef. I order fish of the day with vegetable which came with this very sweet smearing of dark brown banana puree. (I could have done without this) i dont think this worked but hey ho..when in Brazil!!! Overall lovely place with great food and drinks.

The carbonara pasta was tasteless, the croquettes were good, the place is small so you need to wait a little time outside, don’t make big expectations about the place.
