Szarvas - Rimetea

Soups are very good! They also have half soups, half price (not 70% price as in Hungary). Meat courses are average quality, but Polnta dishes are very tasty and large portion. They only have 4 tables inside. It is useful to book a table in advance! If you live in a nearby apartment, simply go to a table to arrange for dinner. The place was open until 6:00, and only on weekends in October 2022.

Read the reviews a little surprised, maybe we only have luck, but had the best cottage cheese polenta with bacon here, I can only recommend trying it

We ordered soup and Snitzel with French fries. Everything was okay, the price is average and the portion was fast. Would go back.

In the small village of Rimetea, after a hike a good meal is a good idea. We found this amazing place. We sat on the terrance to enjoy the weather. The waiters move very fast, you don,t have to wait to be served. The menu...has traditional meals from whici I recomand gulas. It was delicious. Also you must try the natural syrop and the pastry for dessert. We had a delicious meal for a reasonable price.

Beautiful view, can not exaggerate how beautiful the location is. But the food was deeply mediocre, the staff was apathetic at the rude border, and there were 2 wild dogs that ran rampant next to the tables, with one of them encircling our table not stop, bark and... often. I said it's careless and openly insecure and getting rid of it. They didn't do anything about it, they told us they weren't their dogs. No surprise there because they were clearly scattered! In short, did not feel safe, did not eat well.
