The Good Father - Riga

A disaster. Frozen food and awful service. Keep away. Everything was catastrophic. I don’t recommend this place to anyone.

The place is cozy and relaxing. Food was delicious. Music not loud. Staff is friendly and helpful : Thank you for great time.

A hidden gem well worth finding. Found this spot having checked Tripadvisor and it surpassed expectations. From the moment I arrived Dmitriy was so welcoming and helpful his front of house manners and help were exemplary. The carbonara made by Yulia was superb and one of the best I have had and I have eaten many in Italy Highly recommended as I am sure you won’t be disappointed Thank you and best wishes Dickie

Average place. We were group of 9 persons. Restaurant was clearly short-handed, the staff anyway did they best they could. The waiting time between starters and mains were long, about 45 minutes. The food was ok, but I wouldn't recommend to take a pizza. It has a weird dough, felt more like a pie than pizza. Otherwise ingredients were good. The food was in general about average, from the many good options in Riga, I wouldn't see reason to go again.

Went in for a New Year's dinner, all prices were way higher than regularly (e.g. antipasto plate, before 13€, now 30€ and the menu had half the number of options they normally offer. Never felt more ripped off as a tourist, even a bottle of water cost 6 euros. In addition, getting what we ordered seemed to be challenging since e.g. the antipasti plate was missing at least 3 ingredients that were listed on the menu but we're missing from the plate. We had to ask for cheeses and bell peppers separately and only after inspecting the list the waiter got us pieces of mozzarella and parmesan straight from the kitchen in small bowls. Food itself was ok. I understand special prices on NYE, but this was just plain scamming.
