The Blue Room - Riebeeck Kasteel

I always enjoy spending time at Hotel. Even if its just for a cup of coffee , a cocktail Lazarus the barman , normally mixes me my special drink , a cheeseplatter, a bowl of chips or something light to eat. I enjoy the view from the back. Yesterday I looked at the 5 calves playing and running around at the dam a few 100 metres away. The vineyards in their bright to dark green leaves look at their best now. I enjoyed the sunset behind the mountain and the light breeze that cooled off the Valley after a hot day.

Absolutely loved our time at The Royal hotel this past weekend! The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, the cozy warm fireplaces compensated for the cold and always the most amazing food especially the Tiger Prawns Candyfloss and best burger by far! Not to mention the gorgeous endless countryside views from our stunning room. It was the perfect peaceful weekend getaway will definitely be back for more!!!

What a gem of a place...this a must do... Travel back in time and experience life in bygone days...tranquility reigns supreme and the food to die for...got to book a weekend away from the 'Rat Race ', this the place to go..

I don't know if they make G&T's in heaven, but if they do, they're probably not as good as those from the Royal Hotel in Riebeek Kasteel, which are made with first class service from the friendly staff. Best enjoyed from a superbly comfy couch on their fabulous stoep.

We had the most amazing time away with the most incredible 5 course meal we had tried out for dinner.. Every aspect of our experience was world class from the delicious meals to the most rich and opulent wines I have ever experienced, being a Quadriplegic I was very well accommodated.. Thank you The Royal Hotel for such an unforgettable experience, we shall be seeing you soon again.
