Bidra med feedbackA fantastic old school breakfast. It's been so since the 70s. Some of the seats are patched. It looks worn out. But the coffee is endless, the staff is super helpful (everyone is called Hon and the food is amazing. I had the best omlette of my life here: perfectly cooked and seasoned. Phenomena. Excellent value for money. Go if you're ever in Ridgecrest, it's a jewel. You don't take credit cards, so bring cash, or go first to ATMs over the street.
Little place, easy to get to. Cash only, not a problem if you are aware of the fact. Good, quick, friendly service. A lot of local customers, food was excellent and ample, will go back if ever in the area again.
We love this place, it was both good food and very cheerful, friendly, thoughtful service. We would happily go frequently if we lived nearby. We We highly recommend it.
Small diner with very local feel and great service. It may not look like much from the outside but this high desert cafe is a time machine to the past. The decor and layout is mid-century cafe with what looks like all original furnishings. Maybe reupholstered sometime during the Carter Administration, it is nostalgic without trying to be. Food is good without pretension or much flair, but this isn’t that type of restaurant; burgers, breakfasts, comfort food. What sets this little cafe apart was the service; welcoming without being sappy or fake. Great little spot.
Great place with amazing people. I've never had such an experience and tried to go there at least 3 times a week. They are just cash, but so it is about $17 or so for an incredibly big breakfast and large amounts of coffee. On weekends, when I look, the waitress will sometimes give me a bunch of napkins, so I have more space for everything. Seriously, the best place in California, and I'll miss everything when I move away.
