Too bad we didn't order duck literally first time here ,anyway seems every table have ducks that night, but our crispy beef was amazing and the sweet and sour chicken was so tender almost like fish ,overall great food experience . An all time favourite and honestly the best Peking duck restaurant I’ve been to in Australia ! Always greeted with a warm and friendly smile, great service and the taste of the duck here is unparallel, would give this 1000 stars if I could. I would gladly give 100 stars if I could. The Peking duck here is unparalleled – the best I've ever had. The staff is genuinely wholesome, providing quick and efficient service, making every penny spent here worthwhile. It's unfortunate for those who gave a 1-star review; they seem unaware of the dedication and hard work this family puts into delivering such delicious food. The Old Kingdom previously at Smith St, Collingwood was a popular family establishment for many years. Not much has changed with this Richmond one. $70 per duck, 3 way. There is an additional cost for the fried egg noodle and gravy upgrade but it’s worth it. The soup side dish is so-so, you might find it enjoyable if you’re into pickled veggies. It’s great that you can BYO with two liquor stores within metres of the restaurant. Perfect for dining in a small group and save money on paying high prices for alcoholic drinks.
