The Bread Shop - Richmond Upon Thames

For those who enjoy subtle breads, this is the perfect place for them. They offer a wide variety of breads with various flavors, textures, and scents. I had the opportunity to visit and try their bread once. The bakery is nicely decorated and gives off a new, fresh vibe, making it a comfortable place to sit and enjoy a meal. Surprisingly, the bakery has long opening hours most days, so if other cafes in the area are closing their doors, this could be a great option.

I have to agree with the comments about the service. There was no smile or greeting when I entered the restaurant. I selected the bread that I wanted (which I really liked), asked for it to be sliced, and that was pretty much it. There seemed to be a lack of effort in terms of service, especially compared to other places in Richmond where the staff are usually very friendly. Despite this, I always come back for the bread selection.
