Orpheus - Richmond Upon Thames

The restaurant itself is lovely. Very cosy. And the guy who served us was fabulous, friendly and helpful but the Food was basic, I go to Greece every year and adore their food but this was only so so. My moussaka was sloppy, mainly cheese and sauce, not a lot of meat or aubergine, my husbands mixed skewers were over cooked and dry. Quite disappointed to be honest.

We really enjoyed our meal here. Saturday night and the place was buzzing. I had the mixed grill which was enough for two people. The menu can’t be faulted on price and the waiter was a star. We will be back and I’ll make sure I’ve got some cash for a tip next time.

I have been a loyal customer of Orpheus for more than thirty years. I adore everything about this restaurant, from the friendly and welcoming atmosphere to the delicious authentic dishes. The service is exceptional and the prices are quite reasonable.
