Flying Cloud Cafe, Teddington

David and I had not managed to get to the Flying Cloud Cafe for at least three years. We were much relieved to see it was still there and the cakes were delicious Kim's Apple Drizzle Cake for us this time. It won't be three years this time!

Lovely outdoor cafe by the river. Charming setting. Just had coffee, which was very good, but I’m definitely going back for their ice creams and cakes, which look delicious.

Tasty coffee and smoothies, lovely sitting by the lock on a sunny morning. The ice cream is delicious too. I have not tried the cakes but they look good. Also saw some people ordering sandwiches so may try that next!

Delightful homemade cakes, a variety of teas, and delicious ice cream are offered at this restaurant. The staff wearing masks while preparing food and drinks gives me confidence in the COVID safety precautions taken at this establishment. It is one of the few places where I feel comfortable dining out during these times.

The homemade cakes, especially the Apple Drizzle, are absolutely delicious! The staff is very friendly and welcoming, and they make everyone feel valued. The views of the River Thames are breathtaking, making this restaurant a little oasis.
