Never disappoints. I have gone to Citro's quite a few times and the food is always amazing! Easily there is no better Italian food in Toronto or the GTA!<br/ <br/ If you are vegetarian ask Johnny, who is a Master Chef, to make you the Linguine in virgin olive oil and garlic with veggies. If you like spicy let him. AS a matter of fact all of his dishes are great and all my friends who are non vegetarian love his restaurant.<br/ <br/ 5 Stars for Citro!<br/ <br/ Vic
Neighbourhood Gem. This place has fantastic food, fresh ingredients and a skilled chef who knows how to please. I'm sad it's not more popular but happy at the same time I feel like that makes it more mine! The last time I was in, I was reading the specials and the chef offered to make me something that he'd just gotten in minutes earlier fresh mussels. They were amazing! I've enjoyed pastas, pizzas and various specials and in fact, think I'll head there right now. A quiet unassuming little place with delicious eats.
Citro is a small cozy Italian restaurant run by chef Johnny. He makes all food to order. I have tried many of the pasta and fish dishes they are excellent. His Tiramisu is the best that I have eaten in a restaurant.
Don 't judge a book by its cover ... or how the inside of the book looks. The food speaks for itself and is of reasonable price. Spaghetti with ragu sauce is rich and hearty. Risotto special was out of this world good. Meat pizza was only marred by the waitstaff asking 'wasn 't it the best pizza you 've ever had? ', because it wasn 't, but it was fine.<br/ <br/ Speaking of waitstaff, the server for our table seemed extremely aloof and unfocused; hopefully, it was an off night.
