Akane Sushi Richmond Hill

We ordered takeout here. While the food was phenomenal (fresh, excellent quality), we were put off by the service. We didn't tip (because it was a takeout order and we usually don't tip on takeout orders), expected it to be a quick in and out pickup, and we were asked by the host to tip next time. This soured the experience.

Nice and quiet restaurant! Had the everything lunch special $18) with 5 sashimi, 5 sushi, 6 dynamite roll.

Absolutely delicious sushi! From the fresh and flavorful fish to the perfectly seasoned rice, every bite at Akane Sushi is a delight. The service is friendly, the atmosphere is cozy, and the prices are reasonable. Our server, Mona, is extremely attentive and makes you feel so welcome. A must-visit for sushi lovers!

The cashier glared at me angrily as she shoved the tip bin in my face while I was picking up my order. Would not come back.

The cashier was begging for tips by putting a box in front of my face and wouldn’t let me go before giving a tip.
