Sugar Shack Donuts - Richmond

Fun, little doughnut and burger place. We ended getting a couple of doughnuts for breakfast, but would definitely come back to try more. The doughnuts were great, and the prices were really good too. If I had to improve one thing, I would say I wish there was somewhere inside or outside to sit, so that you don't have to eat in the car or find somewhere else to go.

I?m giving Sugar Shack 5 stars because their Samoa is the best f**king donut I?ve ever had in my life. The customer service is okay, however, I feel nowadays all food service spots are struggling. It?s not the same as when I was in food service. Patience is key. Saving my Boston Cream for tomorrow?s snow day.

The donuts and coffee are delicious and the service is wonderful, but what I really find amazing are the custom donuts Maggie and her team create! 12-18 delicious masterpieces or even a custom themed dozen, YUM!

The donuts are really good but do not order a matcha!!! I know it's a donut shop so I wasn't expecting the matcha to be top notch, but me and my friends all got it and the color was almost white and it tasted nothing like matcha, just sweet milk. There was also food coloring on the lid, which makes me think they just colored the milk light green to make it seem like it was actually matcha. I hope that wasn't the case, but tbh I think it was. Don't have a matcha latte on the menu if it's not actually matcha...
