Shoney's - Richmond

My friend and I had very pleasant experience at Shoneys... The food was delicious; but the sauteed apples had a good taste, but could be boiled for a while... The grottos were a bit too watery... All in all, we had very good meals. Are you coming back?

All right. Sitted on Friday. The food was a bit spoiled. Greens were good. Fish didn't have much taste. Children ate for free (age 4 5 3)..so that was a plus. Can't go wrong with the salad bar.

Not many people there. A fairly nice seafood buffet but nothing labeled. Had to ask, what's this. Needs to be identified, some people have food allegories! Biggest disappointment was for so few patrons, had to lift up my cup after 15 mins of waiting for the server to check back. Not good. No breads, soups so so. Red shrimp cocktail sauce way too spicy! Hate to say it but Golden Corral is a better value for seniors!

I just want to thank all the ppl that made breakfast possible for my boys 13u Inner City Warriors (Da Mobb) from Philly. I called Shoney's at 630a asking for a last minute catering gig for 35 ppl (eggs, French toast sticks, sausage, home fries). Not only did they do it, the food was gr8 my boys not only devoured breakfast but, we won our game. Thanks you so much. ?????
