Bidra med feedbackI recently went to Irie Vibes in Short Pump(first time at this location) to get lunch. I was a little disappointed seeing the prices and the lack of a lunch portioned menu, but I didn't let that stop me. If I was spending $20+ I was going all out. I got the 2 Meat dinner with Curry Goat and Oxtail for about $27. ABSOLUTELY WORTH IT. This plate was PACKED. Was enough food for two meals so it all equals out. I had some of the biggest oxtail portions I had ever seen. Goat was great and everything was perfectly cooked especially the rice and cabbage. I wish I had a picture for you all, but I was hungry . I will definitely be back next week. And recommending them to all of my current and former coworkers in the area.
Excellent service and food. Fresh, authentic island flavor and vibes. Definitely check them out today. You will be so happy you did, I know I am.
I will no longer give this restaurant my business. I tried them in August of 2021, the food was not ready after ordering an hour in advance. I said I'll give them another try. Today I tried it again and it was another fail. I ordered my food and she said it would be ready in 30 minutes. I get there 40 minutes later and the food was still not ready! A few more minutes went by and the hostess told me she gave my food away! I had to wait a whole other hour!!!! She did not want to give me a refund or offer free food. She only offered me a hot can of coke. The fish was not cooked thoroughly and all good was dry. Horrible service. Never again!
A wonderful addition to the food diversity of the Short Pump area. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and home cooked flavor of the food. I ordered the goat curry and oxtail combo--both were delicious. I like my food spicy so the lovely lady gave me extra spice on the side for my dish. I was so excited by the food I forgot to take a picture and just enjoyed the warm hug the food gave me. Great portions and welcoming staff.
The cashier was polite. The food was not good at all. It's the most bland Jamaican food that I've ever had. The rice and peas were dry and flavorless. Definitely not worth returning.
