Golden Gate Bistro - Richmond

Nice patio friendly folks but food was mediocre— a leaky bland burrito loaded with chunks of ham. Potatoes were decent.

Great hidden place to have lunch, high quality meats on all the dishes and super tasty specials. Would highly recommend.

Discovered this restaurant in September. It is a hidden jewel. Victor and his staff provides the best service I have experienced in a long time. My company used them for a meeting. They delivered on time, labeled our food, and if there were any hiccups, they fixed, fast, no excuses. The food is delicious and they have a variety of entrées. Once we used them, they are requested often for meetings. If you are in the Richmond area, make a point to stop by. Parking is limited. On a beautiful day, you can sit outside. Service is exceptional. You will not be disappointed. We use them for breakfast and lunch. We had people come to work because because they heard about the food. I have not had one complaint about the food.Vegetarian options: They offer veggie burgers, veggie pizza and other dishes, but if you don't see it on the menu and they have the ingredients they will prepare. Very accommodating.Dietary restrictions: We have an employee who is allergic to raw tomatoes. They prepared a special dish and made sure of no cross contamination.

What a find! I needed to meet a friend somewhere between Oakland and Mill Valley, and GGB popped up on Google. We were so impressed with the extensive menu, great service and delightful outdoor dining area. I had delicious grilled fish tacos (watch out for some powerful jalapeños! and my friend had pepperoni pizza. A number of appealing specials also were on offer. I’ll have to go back. It’s an easy stop just off the freeway between Richmond Bridge and I80. Worth a stop!

This is a wonderful little hidden gem!! Outdoor dining is a beautiful little oasis of plants and climbing vines. Food is excellent, decent beers on tap and everyone is nice.
