Bidra med feedbackOur grown children from Lexington visit us nearly every Sunday, and we nearly always meet at Casa Cafe. Our son-in-law, in particular, always wants to go there. (He invariably has the Chicken Fajitas. The food is consistently great and even when the service is not the best (only occasionally , the food makes up for it. From the chips and salsa to the last bite of frijoles refritos, there is incredible flavor. My current favorite is huevos con chorizon, but I don't think I've ever had anything that I didn't love. The atmosphere is family-appropriate, the prices are reasonable, and the staff is welcoming. If you're within driving distance of Richmond and you like Mexican food, I highly recommend that you visit Casa Cafe. (If you come on a Sunday, you might see us!
John, it is apparent that you must have learned nothing in 4th grade history. If you had you would know full well that you yourself are the decendant of immigrants and know they did not speak standardized english. If the world were to operate on the premise of this is America then technically speaking we should all be speaking in various Native American Languages by each tribes territory. Furthermore if you would open your eyes far enough past your own nose you would see the same things as those who frequent this establishment. Casa Fiesta is the cleanest in town, the workers are constantly productive, pleasant, willing, and capable staff with exceptionally great service, and consistantly recieve the highest marks from the health dept . Furthermore they do understand english I assure you and they are all here legally. Perhaps they couldn't understand what you were saying due to you having walked in with a stick of predudice up your arse. I have been a loyal Casa Customer for years and know for a fact that this is the best restaraunt in town. Besides how much more Authentic can the food be when the restaraunt is Mexican and you have Mexicans fixing Mexican food, the food of thier heritage. Perhaps John you should stick to your heritage of hamburgers, and french fries?
I was there a few months ago and seem to get there two or three times a year. The food is the reason that I keep returning, it is very good. My complaints are that many of the staff are obviously recent immigrants and have trouble understanding English. It is frustrating trying to ask a question of a waiter about a dish when they dont speak English. They are in the US, the national language is English. Learn it. I will be dammed if I will learn Spanish just to order my dinner. I noted that it is hard to get service once you have placed an order, up till then they are very attentive. The last time that I was there I noted that fire exits had trash cans and mop buckets in front of them. I almost called the fire marshal. I think that the next time I will.
Excellent value. Portions are huge, plenty of leftovers for at home later. Hardworking staff. Quick service. Have probably ate there 200 times over the years. Have never had bad food or bad service. Great Margaretta's.
Damn good great place to eat Mexican big -ss portions i always take home doggier bag
