Capitol Waffle Shop - Richmond

Wonderfully creative establishment with a chill coffee-shop like vibe. Mimosa was tasty with a garnish of sweet waffle on the rim. Waffles were fluffy and golden, with well prepared toppings. Will definitely try again.Food: 4/5

If you plan to eat here, grab a table first then order. It was packed for brunch. As to the food, the toppings for the brunch waffle (chorizo, queso, scrambled egg, arugula) were fine. The issue is that the toppings made the waffle soggy and you lost the classic outside crunch of the waffle.Food: 3/5

So I got the granny waffle. It was good and waffle was nice and the fruit was very fresh. I think the chicken can be seasoned a little more. Other than that the waffle was great. The shake was very low on my scale. Like a 3. The other waffle he said was very good. I recommend the mimosa. It’s what I got to replace the shake. It was very good.
