Acacia Mid-town - Richmond

Hello, we had our imagination. Sad to close the book on this place. I have visited acacia in recent years more often than I could count. I was very proud to bring business partners and friends there until I was last there. I have given myself the doubt of a place I once estimated. / what I most value in food facilities is consistency and service and I think acacia has lots of these two ingredients. I have tried to deal with my latest thinking with the administration, but I have never answered or even acknowledged. Maybe they are too big to appreciate their old customers. maybe in richmond the job does not work as it does in big cities. poor service is a result of lack of training, or employee dissatisfaction and lack of management concerns./ there are new companies in richmond who like to get their company and have more innovative cuisine.

The food was fabulous! We ordered dinner to go, and it was so much better than we even expected! The portions were also very generous, and the vegetarian options didn't feel like an afterthought. The mushrooms soup, vegan crabby patty, and lumpia were delicious. We loved it. New favorite takeout place.

Pancit was wonderful. It's so hard to find authentic Filipino food here in Richmond. Lumpia wasn't traditional in the sense of lumpia that I'm used to. I got the vegan but not sure it's 100% vegan so I'm not finishing it, tasted like pork to me, I'm used tp vegetables in my Lumpia this is mostly either ground pork or meat substitute. I'm still providing 4 stars because the vegetarian pancit was good.

Food is so good it might be my new favorite spot! You can taste the quality of the ingredients. But the best part for me and why I'm writing a review is because we ordered from uber eats and the way everything was packaged kept the food from getting gross or smooshed in transit. Fries are still crispy, wrap is still warm, everything was labeled clearly... I am so thankful. One of my biggest pet peeves of togo food is when someone ruins it with a Styrofoam box. Getting food delivered is always hit or miss, but this was a big hit. I will definitely be ordering again soon!
