Bidra med feedbackI tried the classic poutine and was not disappointed. The service was quick, which was a pleasant change from other restaurants in the area. The worker, who I didn't catch the name of, was very friendly and polite. Despite appearing busy, he still took the time to greet me and confirm my order to ensure it was correct. Overall, a great experience and I will definitely return.
I really enjoy eating at New York Fries. I love watching the staff cut and fry the thick slices of potatoes. The regular fries are delicious and the gravy poutine is also very tasty (just make sure to ask for extra hot gravy to melt the cheese curds properly). The loaded hot dogs are hit or miss for me, but I could do without the butter chicken. Parking is available at the nearby mall or other shopping centers and there is public transit access via the Canada Line or bus hubs.
The poutine was mediocre. The fries were decent, but there were not enough cheese curds.
I got a classic poutine for the first time and they weren't disappointed. They were quick to give me my order unlike the other grocery stores in the grocery court. The worker (I didn't get his name) was super friendly and polite. I wasn't sure about going on the vault because he looked busy but he was super friendly and greeted me. He repeated to make sure if I want ice cream or not rather than guessing and getting it wrong unlike other places. Great place and I will come back here again!
Business owner please instruct employees there, do not use fingers to touch the inside part of the box lips. It's not the first time I've witnessed that issue, I am a frequent diner at RC and I love the quality of fries there. This is not even covid concern related, it's a serious hygiene issue! If they fold the box with the lips after touch them, the germs will be onto the fries!! Employees at NYF should only hold the box bottom when ready the service, touch only the outside part of the box.If situation remain unchanged, authorities may be contacted for this matter.
