Bidra med feedbackBeef brisket curry was a highlight!! Vegetable curry and bok choy were awesome!! Service was great. Atmosphere was great. Food was deeelish!! I could eat myself into a coma here! Cash or debit only.
Easy location to find and free parking. Seats about 60 with walls of comfortable booths and 3 large tables for groups of 10. Decor is simple and clean. Menu is a good size with lots of variety. Prices are good and portions are very generous and well presented. All the dishes we ordered were very well made. The curry is famous and creamy. The brisket was tender and full. The French toast was excellent and just like Hong Kong. Hinanese chicken was moist. Soups were flavourful and rich. Ox tongue could have been thicker and slightly too dry. The place gets busy for the right reasons. The ladies are busy and efficient. Highly recommended.
Not up to date menu. Too few waitresses to work on a busy Sunday night supper. My husband ordered a congee and it arrived late after we finished half of our plates. Because the closed at 8:30, we were rush to leave, and my husband had to rush finishing up his meal.
Wow ! it is so long since I visit the Mui Garden , I use go to the N.road location for their Malaysia Curry brisket and the Hai Num Chicken , truly the curry is a classic ! since the Covid -19 , I am very fussy where I go to eat ,with over 45 years in the hospitality ,it is common sense , stay away those dingy grimy places , go to the restaurants with 100 Safety Plan .,high celling ,clean , spacious airy , I took mum to the air port last week ,she is going back to U.K , ,and funny my uncle and aunt in the mood for Curry ,and they told me Mui Garden in Richmond is great and excellent with there curry , the restaurant reopen for a while ,the safety plan spot on ,due to the social distancing ,only operating half the capacity , but it is so quiet ,not more them 10 people in the restaurant , it is typical Hong Kong Style cafe ,menu is over size , from Breakfast ,sandwich ,Chinese food , noodles , far too much options , but we are here for curry ,we just skip half the menu , we order the Curry Brisket , Whole Hai Num Chicken ,and Special chow meim , , the curry is so good and flavourful to die for , the Hai Num Chicken is classic , worth every penny , and the chow mein not oily at all ,lot of topping , also the fish congee not watery , over all ,good lunch ,price range is moderate . truly a treat .
Try their fried noodles. I forgot the english name for their vegetarian option, but in chinese its long hai tzai chow mein. They also have very good curry. I definitely recommend their curry fish. They only accept debit or cash like most restaurants in richmond.
