Lollipot - Richmond

I won't be returning to this restaurant. There are plenty of other choices available. The food was just okay. I requested my drink to be hot, but it only came out lukewarm and I was informed they couldn't make it any hotter. The soup was decent, but it cooled down quickly. Overall, I would rate it as average.

Very tasty food. We got the Tom Yum, the herbal, and the Taiwanese spicy hot pot. The Taiwanese spicy was too spicy for our taste but the Tom Yum was truly tasty. It came in individual hotpots.

A pleasant surprise for a late night dinner! The hotpot meal tastes much better than Boiling point as I find all BP's hotpots to be too sweet. The vitality hotpot tastes like your usual pork bone hotpot soup which was delicious. I like that it came with atleast 3 pieces of frozen tofu, delicious! There were 3 other groups but the food came really quickly. Would come back again witha bigger group!

I am a big fan of Taiwanese individual hotpots and was very excited to try Lollipot. They offer a unique selection compared to Boiling Point, which was a refreshing change. I decided to try the Wulao Herbal pot and found that the soup base reminded me of Happy Lamb hot pot, which I enjoyed. Parking at the plaza was convenient and my order arrived quickly. I am looking forward to trying their bubble tea and waffles on my next visit!

I was very excited to try this restaurant for their unique individual hot pot experience. The hot pots were fantastic! The food and soup were honestly better than Boiling Point. The dishes came out in a timely manner, which was great. However, the service could use some improvement. Despite being the only other group in the restaurant, they left 10 minutes after we arrived and never came to check on us. Later, a group of their friends arrived and they completely forgot about us, leaving me waiting for a while. The dessert included in the combo was disappointing, just a small jello cup for condiments. The waffles, from a separate menu, were not tasty - burnt and lacking original flavor. Despite these issues, the hot pot was excellent and I would return just for that. I would not recommend the combo. Overall, the main dish saved the night.
