Bidra med feedbackI recently visited the "KD Restaurant" in Richmond with a friend. Despite being empty, we enjoyed our meal. We ordered ground pork with salt fish, aubergines in a Clay Pot, and baked seafood in Cream Sauce. The server asked us to pay before receiving one of our dishes, which was a bit strange. Our dishes were served by the chef and were quite hot. The aubergines were decent but lacked seasoning. The seafood in cream sauce was disappointingly bland. My friend's choice of ground pork with salt fish was interesting; the combination of flavors was unique. The manager informed us that they were already closed, which was a surprise as it was only 6:30. Their hospitality stood out compared to other restaurants. It was a shame they closed early, but we still enjoyed our meal. Overall, a rating of 3.5 out of 5 would be appropriate.
I have dined at this restaurant multiple times in the past 4 days and have found the prices to be reasonable with excellent service. I tried the shredded pork with Ho Fun soup (Chinese rice noodles) and it was fantastic. I also enjoyed the ham with macaroni soup on another visit. The service was top-notch and most breakfast dishes come with coffee or hot milk tea. This is the only restaurant near my hotel that opens at 8 a.m. for breakfast, so I was grateful to have someone bring me there for a meal.
Tried out this new restaurant a few months back on my last trip to Richmond and Vancouver.
The plan on this day was to have the pineapple bun with butter, as a certain member of the group wanted this..
I've been wanting a delicious pineapple bun with a generous portion of butter for quite some time now. I finally had the opportunity to try this place.
