Bidra med feedbackThis is a rustic little restaurant operated by real japaners. the service is excellent and eating is always fresh. we ordered dons, noodles and sashimi plus a few other dishes. her ramen is excellent. the portion size is exactly right with an estimate of 13 18 per person. Lunch sets are about $10 each.
Came for dinner with friends, shared a calamari type appetizer which was good, and I had an interesting clam butter ramen which was tasty but unfortunately skimp on the clams. Dessert of mango pudding was just ok...
Dropped by this place because gf and I wanted ramen but the selections were limited; most ramen choices had seafood, not your typical ramen with pork. Price is on the high side for what you are getting, in my opinion... I had seafood miso ramen,...in there i had 3 or 4 shrimps average size, and 3-4 clams. Broth was so bland that I had to dump a lot of soy sauce to have some flavour to it. Gf had chicken karage don, the rice it came with were marinated with some sort of sauce making it sweet which not everyone would like. Bill came to 21 including tax.
This is a genuine Japanese restaurant that can accommodate around 20 people. I tried the seafood yukke don ($11), which was served with a bowl of miso soup. The marinated sashimi in the rice bowl was so delicious that it left me craving for more rice!
Was here a few times and ordered rice and udon dishes that were amazing. really fill and fresh ingredients. small place, but really comfortable. would recommend this place for Japanese eating that is not sushi!
