Danny's Wun Tun Restaurant - Richmond

We ate in, one of only a few that were there, but there was lots of take away going out the door. COVID vaccinations fully checked (thank you) and evidence of full compliance throughout. My fist time back in about 10 years and food was as good as I remembered it. Service was attentive and helpful in dinner selection. Recommend

Face mask head ache, so sister I stopped by for a snack to go. We shared an $11 special x2 meat/rice plate drink. Perfect moist meat crispy, not fatty, not too salty. Told my parents they wanted some too! Staff laughed when they saw us return after 30 min. Ordered 1/2 duck, gai lan rice $28 reasonable. Wow a 2nd time!!

Have been a regular at Danny’s for almost 20 years. Love the people, love the place and, until yesterday love the food. I know that they are only providing take out now and our weekly visits, while not as good as dining in, have still provided us with exceptional Chinese food but yesterday (Nov 28) there must have been a new Chef. The food was at best awful. Surprising for this restaurant and hopefully a blip.

We ordered Peking Duck in advance, and that is always a crowd pleaser. Nice variety on the menu lots of chicken, beef, curry, vegetarian, and noodle dishes to choose from.

Everything we tried was absolutely delicious. Hosts are funny, helpful and responsive. We will come again and we will bring friends and family next times.
