Carver's Steakhouse & Lounge - Richmond

Had dinner here with a big family party. excellent service and good food. the management went out of the way to make us welcome, although it was a very busy night for them. fine selection of steaks and preparations and a good selection of alternatives. my chowder was excellent, very tasty and served piping hot; I had the ny steak good quality steak and cooked as I like it. also the food presentation is very nice, with interesting foods, and the servings are quite large. no problem for the two very young children at the party to get appropriate meals. we had a private room that is suitable for the family to come together. definitiw one of the best restaurants in richmond, british columbia.

One of the best steaks. Compare with keg or hack steak house in richmond meat itself is tender and juicy and price wise his actually cheaper than other steakhouse out there. I ordered arugula spinat salat and rib auge medium rare, spinat arugula salat is well balanced and taste refreshing, rib auge was very juicy and tender, and it also comes with its seosonal vegetables and kartoffel burin. some places like gotham steakhouse need to order them separately and very expensive. carvers steakhouse will be my favorite steakhouse.

The service at carver was amazing. everyone we talked with was helpful. in relation to steaks we had the ny strip loin and filet mignon. during the ny strip loin was great, the filet mignon was forgotten. the texture of the mignon was muddy and felt as if it were hurried to be frozen or something. we shared some appies and they were also a bit of a hit or miss. the escargot was slandered and the calamari was decent.

Awesome food!. Just came back from a date night at Carvers. We used a SocialShopper voucher. The restaurant was completely empty when we walked in, and only about 3 more tables were filled by the time we left, but don't be scared off by how quiet the place is. The food was superb. Awesome crab cakes and awesome filet mignon. They are perhaps not in the best of locations in Richmond, and maybe that is part of why they are so quiet. The food is so good though. If I needed a mid day snack and happened to be in the area, I'd even go back for the crab cakes alone. It was sad to see how quiet the place was. They definitely deserve more business. Give them a try and help them to stay around. They truly deserve to have more customers in their restaurant.
