Bidra med feedbackI cannot give a review from any prospective beyond my own, and I?m a generic white boy from Louisiana and has no frame to talk about authentic Indian food so this review should be considered only by those entirely foreign to the concept. The food isdivided into sweets that you can see up front. All of them are both sweet like you want from a dessert and wildly different thangoing to an ice cream parlor or a cookie shop. Each piece is delicious and unique and worth an open minded try. They charge bythe weight and you can mix and match. The food is prepped in the back and you should consult the pictures from other reviews toget a baring on what you are ordering. Virtually all foods are finger food or food eaten without utensils so be prepared towash and use your hands. The dining room is clean and minimal if you want to eat in. I?ll summarize this way for otherswithout perspective. If you had a grandmother that loved to cook and make desserts, this is a little shop whose food andpresentation feels just like that HOWEVER it would be as if that grandmother is Indian. Keep an open mind and you are going tofind a lot to love here. And if you want something more American in presentation then go somewhere else. This is an adventurein your own city. And it?s worth the trip :
Samosas were ok. Thicker outer covering because of which they were half cooked. Inside filling taste was good but was not enough for the size of samosa. Hope that it was a one time thing, so maybe will try again in few weeks.
Overrated and the quality of the sweets is average at best. Restaurant is not very clean and in a very old, run down building. They need to revamp this place because it has a lot of potential before the competition comes and smothers them. They are aveteran spot in DFW but over the 12 years I have been going there, I always leave feeling the exact same way there is so manythings that could be done better here.
Delicious Indian sweets including barfi, laddoo, gulab jamun, evening snacks, and many other sweet dishes. The jalebi was crisp and decently sweet, laddoos were fresh. They have one of the best samosas in town. I heard their chat varieties are good anddosas are worth trying as well. I?ll definitely come back again.
Good for sweets and savories. Breakfast items are decent in price and taste. Finally bad experience with chai and I would never recommend to anyone.
