First Chinese Bbq Richardson

My family has been getting pork BBQ from here for over a decade. Don't be turned off by the appearance, this place is incredible. We also ate at the restaurant inside and their proportions for mi xao gion are generous on top of delicious.

The food and in particular the bar-b-q char shu over rice and the Singapore noodles.

They've served great food since I was a kid. Over 25 years of eating here. One of the first Chinese food establishments next to Canton and Kirin Court. Hounded me for tip after I paid. Tipped generously in the past but moneys tighter now. I dont mind helping out but if they think speaking Cantonese and whining about tip will help, they better think again. I'm disappointed. Please do better.

We have eaten here over 30 years. It has been a while since we have been there. Had the duck barbecue pork combo side with a main of soft noodle pork. This was a disappointing experience. All that we ordered was dry and under flavored. I'll try again before I abandon this place. It has been so good in the past. One more try in the future. This was a take out order picked up at the correct time.

My husband and I went to Beijing a few years back. Of all the Chinese restaurants we’ve tried in the area, this one by far is the closest to the flavors and freshness we enjoyed there. The service is a bit “sharp”, not rude but not friendly, so I prefer to order takeout. Add to that, the ambiance is dark and dingy. Also, beware they only take cash so I usually order on UberEats and choose the pickup option. My order is always ready in the time estimated.
