Bidra med feedbackDon't allow them to get you sick. They tried to give me a boil bag that was delivered to another table that another customer had opened and eaten a shrimp out of. We both said no and sent our orders back. They then tried to dip our bags in boiling water again and not replace the food and deliver bags back to up that still had fingerprints on them. Also if you like sweet tea don't bother. It is weak and not sweet at all.We should have known things were off when our sons entree hit the table before the appetizer. As a matter of fact, the fried mushrooms never came out.
Good stuff! Friendly pricing. Although our server was on his first day. He did a great job covering all the tables by himself and helping with the register. The inside looks days, but it's a family run place. As long as the food is good and service is competent I'm a happy customer.Food: 5/5
ROACHES. While dining on 4/23/23, a roach appeared on the back of my bench seat. I had to physically get a paper towel and remove it. Upon going into the restroom to discard it, there were roaches in there as well. If there are bugs in the dining areas as well as the restroom, you can imagine they have to be in the kitchen. It wasn’t like this during a visit a couple of years prior. This restaurant seems to have gone downhill. Needless to say, that was my last time visiting this establishment. I made them aware of the issue during checkout. The guy did offer to call the owner to see what he could do for me. However, I was so disgusted,I declined and left. Terrible.
I called in my order before I arrived. The person taking my order said I speak too fast for her to understand. Come to find out she's a teen taking order with little knowledge of the menu. I understand it's a family run business, but some form of training should be taught. I bought 5 lbs of crawfish and got 1 additional pound for free. It didn't look like 6 lbs. Also ordered crab legs and their price is fairly inexpensive compare to the market for 2 clusters. You get what you paid for, I guess. The crab legs quality was poor. Meat was dry as in it may have been old product. Over the last 18 years I come to this place to eat because I enjoy their flavors. Many owners later, it's not getting any better. Hard pass for me. I rather pay market price for quality.
I'm obsessed with crawfish--to the point of eating it 3 times a week at times--and I won't go anywhere else after discovering Cajun Corner. Their Cajun wet seasoning is absolutely addicting and so flavorful. I've had many crawfish boils where I order crawfish instead of boiling it myself, and I used to order from Cajun Corner and somewhere else (including the most popular place in town) to offer variety. Without fail, every single person has preferred Cajun Corner every time, and so I don't offer the second choice anymore. I also love their seafood gumbo. They are family run and so friendly. If you haven't tried Cajun Corner, now is the time. Even if crawfish isn't in season, you can get it frozen out of season here, and it's still really good!
