Bidra med feedbackI have visited this restaurant many times over the years as it is conveniently located near some of my family members. The staff are generally friendly and helpful, and there is plenty of seating and parking available. However, it is concerning that tables are not always cleaned, especially in the current climate, which may be due to understaffing. The carvery can be hit or miss, depending on the time of day, as I have had both fresh food and dry meat. On the other hand, the pizzas are delicious and fresh. Despite the restaurant's size, the toilets are small and can get crowded, and there could be a better queuing system for paying for food and drinks to prevent congestion near the entrance.
The service was really bad, we watched other people who arrived after us be served before us. We waited 20 minutes before asking for our drinks. We lost track for how long it took to be told to get our Carvery. The service took so long we ran out of time to have desert, we had to cancel it. We will not be returning.
Visited the venue with family. A great variety on the menu . I have had the carvery before and it was nice. During this visit I ordered a pizza that came with all you can eat salad and chips. Great value fir money and the pizza was delicious. Customers service could have been better when ordering at the bar, but all staff where friendly and helpful.
I visited a Stonehouse pub that used to be a Toby Carvery, still offering carvery as an option. It was quiet on a Tuesday evening so I decided to order through the app. Unfortunately, I ordered bbq chicken burgers but was informed shortly after that only carvery was available. There were no signs or alerts on the app about this. The carvery looked dry, likely from sitting under the lights for too long. Ultimately, I chose to get a refund and dine elsewhere.
A classic carvery that never disappoints. I usually visit during the week, so I can't speak to wait times on Sundays.
