When you walk into the restaurant you transform into a small upscale bistro. The food is fantastic and so is the service beverage. I highly recommend. They made a birthday dinner memorable! Fantastic!!!! Chef Daniel knocks it out of the park with spectacular tastings of local food and flavors. The waitress, who I regrettably forget her name is and absolute whipper snapper and makes the experience just that much more fun. My friend and I ate with my parents and couldn't have had more fun. Small and cozy spot off the main path. Small but eclectic menu and six tables in a basement setting. Entrance is around the back of the house at ground level. Food and service were both outstanding. Worth a try!
I've known Chef Daniel a long time so you may think this review is going to be slanted in his favor. Well, if it wasn't a meal I was impressed with, I would say nothing. I haven't been back to the Tasting Room since Covid. While I know and love everything Danny cooks is top notch, I am such a fan of his Ramen. The layers of flavors are ethereal. The broth is complex and has a story to tell. The meal is a journey into a process which has many facets. The broth, the quality of the noodles, the jewels that embellish the dish.... The chili oil warms your soul with flavors you can't quite identify, multi dimensional not just spicy. The Bao Buns that start the meal are so delicious, I hesitate to describe because I just can go overboard with more compliments. This Ramen is truly an act of love by this person.
