Ristorante-Pizzeria Da Giacomo

Arrived at the early saunday evening in rheinfelden and needed to eat. found this pizzeria around the corner from where we were. very busy with locals also a few largish parties. menu quite comprehensive and we had pizza and spaghetti bolognese. both were very tasty, hot and well cooked. the service was a little indifferent, as neither I nor my colleague speak German, although the waiters have understood us perfectly!

Unfortunately, the service here was so rude that I had to wait after fifteen minutes until someone comes and takes my order. they were also very rude and sarcastic when I politely asked if someone could come to take my order. The foods could be good, but the service is very bad.

It seems that this restaurant is always well visited. the pizzas were well above average and the waiters attentive. there was a relaxed atmosphere behind the bar that made our stay enjoyable, you almost felt that you were in italy.

Very unfriendly. pasta is terribly overboiled and pizza was no more than average. they also make that they pay euro for a small bottle of water, but they bring it already open, with stinky water inside. never again.

Ive spent several times in that Pizza Place- and i Love it!!! Great Food, best Italian Kitchen in the area i would say!!! Very friendly stuff- always open for any special requests! I love the Spaghetti Vongole they have!! Portions are big and prices are...fair! You just need to book a table in advance since they are always booked out!!!
