Saffran - Reykjavik Island

Got one of the chicken dishes here for lunch. The place was quite crowded and there seemed to be some mistake with our order. One of us got his food much sooner than anyone else and another one of us had to ask two times for the nan bread that was supposed to come with his dish. Food tasted okay.

I ordered a pizza because of 30% online discount and got a pizza called MILANOPIZZA it has dates, onions, chicken and cream cheese. When I opened the pizza it has so much onion that you could have called the onion heaven, and the DATES they were huges and awful really awful , the dates were not cut or sliced down but they were whole on the pizza ridicoulous , dont let me start on the chicken DRY AND AWFUL. DONT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!!!! FOODCO have been destroying places like Saffran, American Style, Eldsmidjan and more. Saffran in the beginning was fantastic one of the best places in Iceland, but today is horrible and the portions are 50% less than in the beginning. STEP UP SAFFRAN.

My family has been here a few times and we have also gone for take-aways and always been pleased with the food and the service is fast and reliable. Prices are reasonable as the food is fresh and tasty.

The food here is always excellent. I've been to 3 different locations and all have been top notch. Get the Honey Chicken.

Great healthy food for a reasonable price. Also great to go with the kids as they have a little playground near to the tables in some of the places in the capital area
