Aktu Taktu - Reykjavik Island

Seriously, give this place a miss. We ignored bad reviews and wish we hadn't. The food quality was really poor. Burger patty was basically raw and doused in way too much sauce, presumably to cover up how raw it was. Burger bun was really poor quality. Chips were fine but we were charged for two large portions despite only ordering one (which came to £15 just for fries). Staff couldn't care less. Seriously, go somewhere else.

Nice chips, nice ice cream, awful chicken nuggets, the building was fine, staff were pleasant. I wouldn’t visit again however if your in a hurry and want a quick snack it isn’t the worst place to stop

Our first day visiting Reykjavik and was looking for food after traveling all night, we stumbled across this little diner type place, we paid about £30 for 3meals for 3people. The service was good, the food was amazing, looked like it was straight out of an advertisement and tasted amazing. 100% highly recommend.

Was the only one in the restaurant, and it took about 10 minutes for someone to come to the till. Then I spent 45 minutes waiting for a burger and fries, while others who had come in after me were served slowly with incorrect orders. By far the worst fast food place I've been so far in the world. Cocktail sauce was nice.
