River Bend Bistro - Rexton

Don't be fooled by the seemingly small portions of some dishes. The fresh flavors will leave you satisfied and already thinking about your next visit.

My mother-in-law and I came here to celebrate our 40th anniversary. They offer gluten-free options, which are easy to identify with a happy face symbol. We both enjoyed the blackened salmon, which was cooked to perfection. The restaurant was busy, so I recommend making a reservation. The location is also very nice.

We made a reservation in advance and everything was prepared for our party of 16. The service was outstanding and they had a great selection of wines. The service was prompt and the restaurant was quite busy. It's also conveniently located within walking distance of the Richibucto River Resort.

A very good restaurant, great food, good presentation, friendly staff, reasonable prices, good atmosphere, would certainly return there in future.

I was greeted by the very friendly server who was helping several tables with a smile. The lunch menu was fairly straightforward but everything I had was excellent. The lobster roll was full of lobster and not smothered in mayonnaise, the roll was lightly toasted and arrived warm, the fries were to die for, perhaps some of the best I've had in a longtime (including in Brussels, their capital). The chef salad that preceded the meal was original and very fresh. It would have been nice to get a piece of good bread with it. I didn't try any desserts as the portions were very copious. I definitely recommend this place. One suggestion: an espresso maker. The setting of this restaurant is also exceptional. Beautiful grounds and a stunning view on the water.
