Bidra med feedbackThe food is okay, but it's a great place for a cheap meal. The prices were as from the 80s. A few dollars for a chicken sandwich, 70 cents for a soda and a $1.25 for some dead. I wish I could help them clean it, so it looks more beautiful and inviting. The lady cooking/waitress was a gem!
I was in a crunch and needed a quick lunch. Mariana was quick and accommodating. The prices were great and the food was delicious. A juicy burger fresh off the grill. Definitely coming back. If you need a quick eat that is really good,You need to come here.
Old building but has a really good burgers and amazing french fries !! the lady is amazing !! bring cash because they don't accept credit cards and is only open until four , you won't be disappointed with the food !
We went to Bear World before stopping by here for lunch. The place is only open from 11 to 4 but it was well worth stopping. The cade is in a building dating back to 1907, the cafe has been there since the 1950s and the lady working there has probably owned it for a couple of decades. The food was good, the kitchen clean. There wasn't a lot of money spent on making it look nice but that didn't seem to negatively impact our experience. Old fashioned family owned diners aren't as common anymore so finding one was a real treat.
One of my main go to places. The building is definitely on the old side but the food is wonderful. Nothing crazy, just great burgers, hand cut fries, and amazing homemade shakes. Has a great good ol' country diner feel to it. I highly recommend the Thornton Merc
