Berggasthof Kranzegg - Rettenberg

General In Kranzegg we took the hiking trail. At the top (1150m) of this hike there was a return at the Berg Gasthof Kranzegg. On the outside terrace we had a very nice view of the green and the surrounding mountains. The menu was very rich, so we chose two different dishes. The Swiss sausage salad was very tasty and more than rich. The lens terrarine chosen by my wife was also served Flaott and also simply delicious. In addition to classic Bavarian bread dishes, there were also Swabian specialties that we unfortunately could not try out. However, on the basis of the guests' faces to the neighboring tables, we realized that everything must be very good. Overall we enjoyed the short stay at the Berggasthof very well. Especially remarkable was the kindness of the service. Operation It is probably a family business. Our kindness came from our hearts and was not played. We felt very comfortable there and really as a guest. The menu is divided into a day card and an evening card. From small snacks to large meals everything is actually there. The prices are fair. The ambience The outdoor terrace and the guest room are fully in line with what you expect from a mountain inn. For the small guests there is a children's playground with swing and slide in the outdoor area. Cleanliness In punkto cleanliness is not much better. The dishes were clean, the glasses were polished. The toilet facilities were also very clean. As for a mountain garden, waterless urinals were installed in the HerrenWC.

We would not return to another inn!!! Wirt and Wirtin are very friendly, care and dog love. As warm-hearted as you imagine in Bavaria. We were surprised as overnight guests not only with special menus for dinner and rich breakfast, but for our dog Django there was also a bone in the room. The rooms are clean and lovingly furnished. The view is beautiful from the rooms, but the terrace in the evening sun is really everything. Over and over. Up!

Wirt and Wirtin are very friendly and warm, good kitchen, great location! We like to come back!
