Bidra med feedbackPopped in after an appointment with hubby and wasnt dissappointed. Certainly lived up to its reviews. I had singapore noodles, hubby ordered honey pepper beef. Both were full of meat and flavour and we both enjoyed our meals. We both left feeling full but without that greasy sick feeling you can sometimes get with chinese food. Food was fresh and made as we waited. Highly recommend! Will be back!
My family had a great experience at this establishment. The food was absolutely tops! You could taste the freshness in the dishes and my kids woofed their meals down. They have good range of entrees and the mains are from Chinese to noodles and vegetarian options. The prices were very, very reasonable.Being a Halal restaurant, their is no BYO or alcohol served and they have a fridge in the corner with softies which you help yourself and they will add to the bill at the end.The food was the star.Only open between 5pm and 9:30pm from Tuesday to Sunday.IF you have a bigger party, be sure to book.
Mama Wong's Kitchen, which was previously located on Flinders Street in Melbourne CBD, relocated to 164 Sydney Road Coburg in late 2016.With plenty of free parking close by, its now much easier to enjoy the tasty menu offerings on a more frequent basis - and their faithful clientele seem to agree as the restaurant always seems busy whenever we stop by for early dinner.Having sampled extensively through their menu, we've settled on some favourites - fried chicken dumpling starter, sweet & sour chicken, beef in black bean sauce and beef fried rice - that we now always order.Even when the place is busy, the food doesn't take too long to arrive and is consistently tasty. The prices are reasonable and we always end up either ordering more to go or taking the dinner leftovers home.Do yourself a favour - give Mama Wong's Kitchen a go. I promise you, you'll be back for more.
Although the prices are affordable, the fried rice at this restaurant is extremely disappointing. The staff is also lacking in friendliness.
Affordable and convenient for takeout, just a short walk from home. The Hokkien noodle dish was decent, neither exceptional nor disappointing.
