Incredible restaurant. Amazing cocktails, jaw-dropping food, and fabulous staff. We got lucky to get a table without a reservation, but DANG. I will not roll the dice again. What a spot!
I went here for my birthday and the food was really good, the food is a little pricy but nothing a Top G cant afford you feel me??. N im just playing but the food is good, the staff is nice, and overall a good place to eat.
A great neighborhood place that serves a wonderful steak! My ribeye was cooked to perfection...it was our first time here but having grown up in Renton I know this place has been here for longer than I have been alive...a great little piece of history. Staff was really nice and very efficient.
We visited Melrose Grill looking for a nice night out with good steak and seafood, and it delivered. The restaurant was. Very busy when we arrived, so we were glad to have made a reservation; the dining area is quite small and cozy. The atmosphere was overall very casual, very much like a small pub, but they dim the lights to remind you you 're at a nicer kind of establishment. My ribeye was cooked perfectly, the garlic mashed potatoe were delicious, and while the mixed vegetables tasted good, they were a bit mushy. My wife loved her steak and described the salmon and shrimp as standard ; it 's kinda hard to make grilled shrimp and salmon stand out, in their defense. We had an apple crisp for dessert. The waitress described it well as an apple crumble and opted to add ice cream to it, which was a good decision. As far as steak houses go, there is real value in Melrose Grill. They provide great quality steaks at a reasonable price, and they come with two sides, a salad, and dinner rolls, while other higher end places serve the same quality steaks and charge separate for each side and salads are simply on the appetizer or sides menu. I see why this place has been around since 1901; they do a great job.
