Wild River Grille - Reno

Wait time was way too long. Food was overdone and very chewy and not at all tender as it should have been. Way too expensive for the service and quality of the food. We will never dine there again.

When we walked in, the waitress seemed uninterested in helping us. She asked for someone else to handle us because she was handling the outdoor tables. I thought that to be understandable. Once the hostess seated us, I opened my napkin it was heavily smeared with some sort of food. I was disgusted. We left went to another restaurant across the river. I was really disappointed because I had such a great experience on a Saturday afternoon.

The chicken piccata was terrible and so was the meatloaf. Chicken piccata tasted like dry fried chicken and there was no sauce. The meatloaf had awful gravy on it. The drinks were good.

The BEST food I've ever eaten. The mushroom ravioli dish is heaven-sent. The skill that sets them apart is the flavor pairing of the dishes, so smart, so good. The restaurant is charming with live music and outdoor seating during the warmer months. The restaurant is pricy, but 100% worth it, I can't wait to go back.

We ante outside it was chilly. I expected heaters/heat lamps so that was disappointing. Had to run back to car for extra coat. Food got cold pretty quickly. We had a dog with us so it was nice we could bring her though.
