Large selection of wines! interesting! terrace in shade. great place to meet for a glass of something unique before dinner!
Lady bartender is way too good looking and too cool to talk to me I guess, bought two flights of wine and with no customers inside just me, she sat down at the end of the bar and use her ipad instead of asking anything, 'come on at least something about the wine! After I ask to pay, she became talkative but too late. This is why businesses don 't do well and are empty. Owner 's invest money on bringing people in, but super cool bartenders drive customers away, good luck to you business owner!
We went in for a late nigt drink on Valentine's Day and were treated like **** from the brunette female bar tender who thinks she is god's gift. The only thing she said was that is was last call in a rude and unfriendly manner basically telling us to leave with her eyes. So we left. What a b* @h!
I apologize, my previous review here was for w 2nd st. not here. my fault. that is not a nightclub, it is a weeping with a few tables around and in summer the whole front wall opens and you get a mini-terrace thing. it is a very nice meeting point that reno needs very much, mature, demanding quantity, as challenging as reno can get. in contrast to most bars in reno, which has been filled to the 20, this place has people from 20 (okay 21) into the retirement age. not the best meat market, but they will get some cougars. Yes, I said it, cougars! the wine list is eclectic and they will not find the great names like Ferrari-Carano, rombauer, beringer, beaulieu, mondavi, sterling, truchard, ravenswood, ridge, clos du val, frog’s leap, ape’s leap, etc. through the glass can be a bit expensive, so I would recommend to bring friends and share a bottle or try the wine flights. they also have a lot of aale for cervicals, but only stella and pilsner urquell to lagers or pilgers. many places don't wear light beer, because it's not very diverse, but hey, we live in diet-conscious times, and even steak places have salate whatever. I just wish it could be bigger. Maybe they take the wall down one day and take over what was the bakery shop next door.
