Ruby River Steakhouse - Reno

Atmosphere was loud and somewhat darkly lit. Good filet mignon steak; not full of flavor, yet tender and good enough to not disappoint. Would have preferred a nice gravy for the streak over bacon wrapped, but this is how they serve it. Mashed potatoes we're pretty good, I enjoyed them! Wedge salad was average, not bad. Bread was a bit too doughy, but warm. I ate the crusty parts. Our waitress was great!

It's so sad. I would drive from the Bay area just to go to dinner to this place and unfortunately it's been since 2020 that we went so I was super excited to go. Perhaps it's because we went at 9:00 at night but the food was not nowhere near what it used to be nor were the drinks and the service was absolutely horrible. I am so so sad

Coconut shrimp, wings, jalapeño poppers, steak and parm chicken were all good margaritas were really good too

I had the garlic Parmesan chicken with garlic mashed potatoes. It’s been over a week and I still think about it and can’t wait to go back for more. It was so good.

I visited Reno for a week (to spend time at Lake Tahoe) and the 7oz bacon wrapped filet was so fabulous at this place that I ate there 3 of the nights. Word from other patrons is that all of there steaks are too die for. My first couple of nights (once at a booth and onceat the bar), the service was lackluster, but my third night at the bar was much better.
