Bidra med feedbackHoly **** I have found a great sports bar! It was rather by chance at that. I went to the junkyard and picked out some of the parts I need to convert my truck from an automatic transmission to a manual transmission. They were going to need about an hour or so to pull the parts for me so I went for a bite to eat. I was looking for more of a biker hang out as I am on the Harley but hey you take what your given and I couldn't be happier! I had the mushroom Swiss burger with French fries and ranch for fry dip. The burger was standard 80/20 ground beef but OMG was it seasoned well. It tasted more like Angus. The bun was not your standard bun. It was fluffy and flavorful with a hint of butter. The fries were fresh cut, skin on, and fried to perfection. They were mostly left whole cut lengthwise with gives a meaty fry in the middle and more crispy at the ends. The ranch was not a watered down runny mess. It was thick and oh so rich! I actually had to back off a bit it was so rich. And to top it off not only was the waitress servicing customers the cook himself, an elderly gentleman in a chefs uniform, came to check on me and the meal he cooked. I'm blown away!
Great place! Pool tables, Darts, and some video games. Food is okay, needs a little help. Not a fan of the hot wings with a tomato paste hot sauce. I prefer the vinegar, cayenne wings more. Staff is very friendly and service is great!
Well I went to check it out. It's kind of an old bikers bar ambient. But food wise looks pretty good. But when I said pretty good that means it's bar food. Not Red Lobster. So don't be expecting a miracle on 34th Street. I played for a little bid. I should've look at the menu before ordering. Cus I paid almost $13 dollars for a plate of fish and chips. I had 3 beers and put 20 bucks in the machine. And lost $1 dollar. So I think I was over price for the one hr. I was there. Not sure if I'll be coming back. And also for who ever wrote they called you by your name. I don't know about that. They asked me for my name and that was it. Other then that You are on your own there.
I suppose during the day this place is okay for all ages, but later on it's more of an adult crowd with live bands. Great drink deals. Bartenders are always prompt and cool. Two pool tables in the middle and another room where there's usually a band with a small dance floor and tables in back. Not sure what the other reviewer was talking about with disco and boxing stuff. Not sure he's been to this bar. The place is a bit divey looking and aged. Not too many hotties here unless you like them tattooed and all into punk or roller derby or something. The bar area's too bright though. I hate bright bars, but the other room is very dark.
****, I found a great sporty! That was quite random. I went into the garden and took some of the parts I need to convert my truck from an automatic transmission to a manual transmission. they wanted to take about an hour to pull the parts for me, so I went for a bite to eat. I was looking for more cyclists as I am on the harley, but hey, you take what yours is given and I couldn't be happier! I had the mushroom Swiss burger with French fries and ranch for fry dip. the burger was standard 80/20 ground beef, but omg was well seasoned. it tasted more like angus. the bungalow was not her standard book. it was fluffy and tasteful with a hauch of butter. the fries were freshly cut, on the skin and fritted to perfection. they were mostly cut in length with giving a fleshy frit in the middle and crispy at the ends. the ranch was not a watered chaos. it was thick and oh so rich! I had to go back a bit, it was so rich and to finish it was not only the waitress who the waitress himself, an older gentleman in a chef uniform, came to me and the meal he cooked. I'm blown away!
