Little Gull Café - Remsenburg-Speonk

I was a little skeptical because it?s a bit pricey?then the food came ???? best egg sandwich I?ve ever had (I got the tomato sandwich with eggs). And the servers and staff are SO friendly and inviting. This place is so charming, flavorful andendearing?I highly recommend!!

I was there twice in the last month. the place is charming, but grows in unevenness with weeds, dirt under the bank and rubbish on one side through the kitchen door. there is a lack of external, although there is space around the corners. the people sit on a bank and wait. once sitting outside, the sun strikes her and there is no shadow. the service is very slow- expect their order taken in 15-20 minutes and have to pay in the bill an hour later. when I first went, my blueberry pancakes were excellent. Recently I got the regular pancakes and they were not very good (sluggish on outside and inside). remsenburger and eiersandwich of my friends were ok. overall we feel that we will not return because of the braiding of the yellow and the bad service if they do not make any changes. sad because we wanted to love it.

Slim breakfast, especially for the humble price. everything is made to house or locally produced. the personal is wa and gracious. can not recommend this place enough for a casual breakfast or lunch. the old railway station is such a sweet setting to boot.

Eating is good. my son had the blt, my friend had the pancakes and I had the grain/green salad. the problem we had was with the terrible service. a young man sat on a dirty, sticky table and we had to wait while he was cleaned. we asked for water that never came. my son rose up and went to get something. our food came almost 25 minutes later without serviettes, not cute. we finally moved in again. when it was time to get the ****, not a waiter in sight, so I went back in to pay the bill. on another thema I wish the owners would make a little more effort to water the place. the outside is rather grungy with overgrown weeds and dirty floor. beeing and flying are everywhere. the rest is dark and stinking with paper towels on the whole floor. yes. this place has potential, but in any case needs an intervention. Maybe we'll try again, but no hurry to come back.

I really look forward to visiting this place after seeing the review from news 12 Long Island The first time I visited I did not do the proper research and it was closed on a Tuesday. I went back today with my sister and a friend. I ordered the Remsenburger. I give the place three stars because the burger was very good. My disappointment lies in the wait time. It took 45 minutes to get my meal. I understand there was only one server and only one cook but I am definitely one and done with this place. either hire more people or let your patrons know that their food will not be out anytime soon. I arrived in Speonok on the train at 12:30 planned to the train home was at 2 o'clock and there would be plenty time for lunch. I basically barely made it to my train home. The woman server noticed my displeasure and instead of apologizing for the long wait she became very rude especially when it was time to pay the bill... Unfortunately one done.:
