The cook can do something. when they leave and order something different than carving, they can see that there is excellent eating in the back of the valley. the service is high quality. it is hardly worth using their own kitchen during the trips.

Best odenwälder kochkäseschnitzel der region. crispy, although the hot cooking cheese is served directly on the carving. very friendly staff, beautiful local and terrace with view.

We were there to eat and had ordered a menu each. at the beginning there was a simple but good suppe, then a good salad, a very tasty main dish and finally a small but fine dessert. all accompanied by nice and attentive service. we sat on the terrace with beautiful rural views and had a really pleasant time. if this cost per person, including drinks, I would have felt it appropriate, but for under it is the best price-performance ratio that I have experienced for a long time. it is exactly what one imagines among well-bourgeois odenwald kitchen. an absolute recommendation from me. we'll be back.
