Dos Locos - REHOBOTH BEACH

We 'd been here before, a few years ago, and something is definitely different now. from the greeting to the service to the food it seems like the restaurant has lost it 's soul. it 's just a machine where everyone just goes through the paces to feed people, without much personality or enjoyment. I 'm not sure what that stonegrill is all about, it just seems out of place. Pick a cuisine and stick with it. there seems to be a wide variety of options, but it seemed like the server didn 't understand everything on the menu. for example, we chose the pick 2 enchiladas and chose our two fillings, just the two ingredients were present, with no cheese, sauce or sour cream. The scallops on the scallop fajitas were overdone and rubbery. our other guest enjoyed here chimichanga. But why does spanish rice have diced frozen peas, carrots and corn with no seasoning whatsoever? a very bland side dish. the drinks seemed to be good values. Please, don 't use Jose Cuervo in the house margarita, no self respecting latin restaurant served that fake colored gut rot anymore. The servers worked very hard, I have no ill will towards them, the front of the house was visibly very poorly managed. we got there early, there was just a few tables, and as it rapidly got busier, our server and one other got nearly all the tables while other servers in other parts of the restaurant were still just hanging out. after we got our food we didn 't see our server until it was time for the check. Overall it just seemed that the goal was to pack in as many people and make money, rather than create an atmosphere of great service, food and fun. I know they are trying to push their breakfasts too, and the menu hanging in the bathroom was riddled with spelling and logical errors.

Steak and chicken burrito. Steak was very tough. Womens Restroom was terrible. Toilet not functioning in one stall, no toilet paper in the other. Needed to be cleaned as well. Guacamole size was shameful for $14. Vegetarian options: Plenty of Options for Vegetarians

I get they are super busy, but I wouldn't have served burnt calamari. Drinks rocked!

Hannah was a great waitress! Went for my hubbys birthday and they had the best celebration. I got the Barbacoa Burrito and it was delicious!!

Had a fantastic experience today. Dinner was scrumptious. I had the lobster burrito. Big chunks of lobster, tasty sauce. My wife had sirloin fajitas. Sirloin was cooked to perfection with very good flavor. Service was prompt and friendly.
