Bidra med feedbackSunday Brunch (whole roasted pig)!. This is a neat place: a clean buffet with many different meat dishes (with lots of meat; they certainly don't skimp on the meat) including a *whole roasted pig* every Sunday. The place was quite busy with an almost exclusively Filipino clientele, which I saw as being a very positive sign as far as food authenticity goes. Plenty of water was brought to the table and the service was good. The food was tasty and included a squid dish which I enjoyed although I suspect that many less adventurous diners may consider it to be an acquired taste. In addition to a variety of meat dishes, there were noodles, two types of rice, soups, an eggplant dish and some salad. There were also tasty spring rolls. Although the ambiance of the restaurant is very basic, this is--without a doubt--one of the best Asian buffets in the city. I am not sure whether it is different on a weekday but it was nice on the Sunday that I went. The price was very good: $27 for two people.
Perfect buffet. I stopped here after running the Regina Marathon. It was sad but I was the only person there the whole time I was eating. The staff were great. I had the buffet, which was pretty good. It is funny that the staff mentioned that it was only Asian food. I would not expect anything else! I only wish the plates were a bit bigger! I should have asked more questions about all the dishes, because I cannot remember all the names. : . I will go back here again.
Went there for Sunday brunch. The owner greeted us and to warn it was only Filipino food. It was so good. Every dish had flavor. Nothing was over salted or greasy. My husband and I enjoyed our meal. It was also super cheap.
Great filipino food. Opened just at the end of 2012, pinoy heat serves up filipino soul food. The kare kare (beef in peanut sauce/veg),bistek tagalog, pancit canton/bihon mix, and the spicy fried rice are my faves. As im finding with filipino food, practically everything has its own sauce. The staff were patient to explain everything though.<br/ <br/ The buffet goes 11-9 so there is hot food all day which is something i like. ice cream and fruit slush are included, the food has a home cooked feel and is very heavy. I recommend this place to everyone, but especially those nursing a hangover or re-fueling for another late night.
Best place to go when you miss Pinoy foods and lazy to cook.
