Jamdon's Restaurant & Catering Service Inc

I was convinced to try Jamdon's for lunch one Thursday and I was pleasantly surprised. Having tried jerk chicken in Jamaica before, I was pleased with Jamdon's version. The barbecue pork and curried chicken were also delicious. If you enjoy these types of dishes, I highly recommend checking out Jamdon's. Thursday is buffet day, so don't miss out!

Jamdon's is a hidden gem well worth finding. Situated in the historic seminary and bible school on 4th Avenue, this restaurant, run by an executive chef from Jamaica, serves up delicious dishes in a laid-back atmosphere. Whether you call ahead to make sure they have their homemade dumplings and Jamaican sweet potatoes or simply show up and see what's available, you won't be disappointed. My personal favorite is the curried goat with dumpling and sweet potato - it's fantastic! The oxtail, curried chicken, and jerk chicken are also top-notch choices. I'm thrilled to have these authentic flavors right here in Regina - I used to have to travel to Toronto for curried goat! The chef even gave me some jerk rub to take home and try - it was delicious. I can't wait to come back and try the Ackee and saltfish next time!
