Bidra med feedbackMy wife and I were driving from Milan to Stresa while on vacation in Italy. We needed a break and found this place, just off the autostrada. Lovely place friendly staff, clean bathrooms, nice coffee and expresso, and fine food. Highly recommended
Even with all the good food in this area, this was a nice surprise. The owners are from the Caserta area and have been making buffalo mozzarella for about 15 years. Now they have opened a restaurant/bar and serve their own fresh mozzarella along with other dishes on a small but very good menu with something for ever taste. We had a caprese salad and eggplant parmesan (which my dining companion assured me was authentic homestyle). Both were excellent. If you love (or have never tried) real fresh buffalo mozzarella and you aren't going to the South, this place is a must. And as an extra treat they make a buffalo milk frozen yogurt (no sugar added because buffalo milk is naturally sweet) that is rich and delicious. Warning, it is NOT fat free!
